Mary knows what it means to work hard. Raised in a small-town in northeast Connecticut, she watched her father pour long hours into his bicycle shop and her mother push through late-night study sessions to become an accountant. Even with their work, her parents were dedicated to their community and to giving back by teaching bicycle safety to students and leading the local Girl Scout troop.
They taught her that perseverance and dedication can change lives, and that’s exactly what she has carried into her work. During law school Mary stood up for worker’s rights on the job with the Massachusetts Coalition for Occupational Safety and Health. She has continued her dedication to service in her legal career. Whether leading legislative campaigns for struggling families, fighting for government accountability, or pushing for policy changes that improve access to vital services, Mary believes that every person deserves to be heard, valued, and supported. As your next Ward 6 City Councilor, Mary will bring your voice to City Hall and work hard towards the solutions that make our neighborhoods cleaner, healthier, and safer.

“As a public interest attorney, I have dedicated my career to standing up for families and individuals who are traditionally underrepresented in civil and criminal law. From veterans losing their rightful benefits, to immigrants seeking asylum, I place people at the center of everything I do. Now, I am taking my fight for justice to the Springfield City Council. As your Ward 6 City Councilor, I will work to improve public safety, invest in our city’s infrastructure, and enhance the quality of life in our community. Our neighborhoods deserve a hard-working, qualified councilor who will deliver results. Thank you for this chance to earn your vote.”
